GOODBYE, ARC Raiders. Thanks for the good times...
It is disheartening to watch a product die of its own success, but that is the nature of things. In my case, it provided 200 hours of brilliant gameplay—a level of enjoyment I hadn't experienced in many years. I will hold onto that. It is a shame the game did not dare to become something more, to be the benchmark we envisioned when we supported it with mass purchases. Such is the reality of a world governed by profit. Having secured incredible revenue and unanimous critical acclaim, they satisfied both users and investors and can now move on.

The tragedy is that moving on means sidelining ARC, with the sole intention of milking what remains of its reputation while the game slowly fades into oblivion.

It is sad, fellow citizens of Speranza, but this is how business works. Those dreams of a hub city where we could all interact, a more adaptable PvPvE system, and meaningful maps that would change the landscape—all were merely illusions offered to maintain an acceptable flow of capital.

The reality is that it is far more cost-effective to move an entire team to a new product capable of generating millions in fresh revenue. Perhaps we failed to purchase enough cosmetic DLC; that is something we will never know.

Although deeply saddened to witness the decline of something so exceptional, I remain hopeful—literally and figuratively. I trust that Embark’s next project will provide hundreds of hours of fulfillment once more. However, be warned, friends at Embark: your success could become your future downfall. Your next release will be under intense scrutiny; consumers will not accept a mediocre product when the standard set by its predecessor is so high. I hope you are prepared for the challenge this entails.

It is a pity you did not dare to follow through on your original vision: taking ARC Raiders to an incredible level. Some of us dreamed of the possibilities your universe offered—maps in space with zero-gravity combat against ARCs, fighting to reclaim Speranza from ruthless robot hordes, and merciless AI that learned from our behavior. We imagined truly new maps with swimming mechanics, gravity shifts, and frantic PvP combat styles. You failed to see that this could have been a gold mine on the scale of titles like Fortnite.

See you in your next project. Long life, and HEY! Don't SHOOT!

Oh look, another grown up player who cries about his toy...
People can't just enjoy what they have I guess.
This isn't an airport. You don't need to announce when you're departing.

At least be original instead of parroting what one person came up with a while ago
I always play solo, carrying a lot of bandages, shields, and defibrillators.
I enjoy helping other players escape and survive. I try to revive the fallen and heal the wounded, and I find it very enjoyable and interesting. I don't do PvP at all!

So because you don't like it, it must now fail and no one else should play it. I got it and I fully understand. You win this one. Good show.
See you back here when they put pve or at least kick away the rats.
It means probably never :/
Should have just named the game The Finals 2. 🤣
Bro wrote a farewell speech like ARC Raiders got cancelled after defending Earth for 20 years instead of just not adding zero-gravity swimming PvPvE capitalism mechanics.
Glad to see all the pve only complainers leaving cause they finally understand pve only is not coming.

Lol, the cult thinks its just the PvE's. 🤣
I'm a PvP player. You're all just a bunch of immature kids who can't hold a conversation. I don't want anything about Embark to fail. Work on your reading comprehension, kids. Go to sleep—it's already late!
This is for the die-hard fans who laughed at my comments—and while I don't like it, it's a sad reality. I don't think ARC Raiders will make it to that long-awaited super map within six months...

its ok to take breaks. i hop on farm materials. put the game down for a bit. hop on do pvp. rinse and repeat. been saying this since day 1. arc isnt meant to be played non stop every single day. take a break come back. its healthy for the soul.
