ARC Raiders

Concerned about the performance.
I played the tech test 2 and had disappointing performance on my PC. I have an RTX 3050 mobile which I know isn't even close to the best GPU but I know it is sufficient to run this game(I get upto 110~ frames on the finals at medium settings). I was barely getting 60~ frames with all settings at low and DLSS at performance. I know ram can be an issue but I've got 32gb of DDR4 3200MT/S ram. Anyone in the same boat as me or am I just stupid?

The game ran really well for me, but I do have a fairly decent pc.

Hopefully, by release, it'll be better optimised.

your specs meet the min requirements, you're not going to be getting high settings or 60fps.

Are you aware there are more parts to a computer than RAM and GPU?

yes. I only found the GPU and ram worth mentioning because I have seen people complain about their GPUs having low useage and people with low ram being unable to run this game. CPU ect. doesnt seem to have been mentioned a whole lot on the discussions.
Didn't have any issues....I assume it's still being optimized though

Its most likely also your CPU and the fact you didnt have it on a SSD I guess.
I am using 1080 ti, 4 core intel and 16 gigs of ram. Zero performance issues on high settings, 1080p.

Dude the game has low usage on the GPU because the CPU is bottlenecking the game, in that case the CPU is way more important.
This game isn't even in a beta yet. They're in pre-alpha. Like chill, they obviously will work on optimisation

There was already a closed alpha and two tech tests, the tests were more like closed betas rather than an alpha and definitely not a pre-alpha.

It was the best cooked game out there ive ever played, There are games out there that still don't run flawlessly, even after they've been officially released for a while. They dont need any optimisation for old hardware. What would be the point of this?

the point would be more players. This game will need a big playerbase considering they are going for the 40$ pricepoint instead of f2p. People like me who cant afford better hardware are willing to play this game.
Performance might be you not having a fresh installation of windows version.
I had terrible crashes of stutters when Apex Legends launched, i tried everything (rollback etc)till one day i installed a fresh version which solved all my issues.
It could be a driver issue or high temperatures, check first every option until you proceed on heavier solutions.
