Is there a way to get back up after being knocked out?

downed and knocked out someone who opened fire at me, while I was checking his loot he got back up and shot me with a shotgun.
just wondering if there's an item or something that lets you get back up after being knocked out?

3. You can still both call the extraction AND close the doors all while downed

I actually just had this happen as well. Flare went out and everything - dude got back up nobody else around. Haxxors to the maxxors I guess.

nothing you can do personally to get back up.

A person self resing is either using an exploit/hack or servers are acting up.

well this was a while ago and I was fresh to the game, so I wasn't aware that self revive wasn't an option.
I still remember this incident though, knocked him out and was looking through his inventory and suddenly it kicked me out of the inventory screen and he stood right up, it wasn't an animation or anything, just instantly went from the downed position to the standing up right position and downed me with a shotgun.

anyway, never ran into anything like that since that one time. so it's whatever I guess
