Mouse feels akward?
Hey!
I've been playing like 6h at the game, but idk why, my mouse feels bad when i want to aim.
It feels like it has a little bit of delay or something like that, that makes the mouse or the aim strange.

I've been trying some things like disabling nvidia dlss, configuring the controller setting (even though i'm not a controller player), etc.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this? Any hint?

Thks! <3

You could be feeling: Unreal Engine - Negative Mouse Acceleration

See 5:30 mark of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uWQl2phEUI
Notes:
Disable smoothing/acceleration by using a polling rate of 250 Hz or lower. Using a higher polling rate will result in a lot of negative acceleration!

Still Iike to go bit higher then need go into mouse setting.

But no lag

I too have DLSS on but DLAA

No frame gen either

I only notice this type thing if I use DL/DSR to run at 4k downsized to 1440p

But only in certain games.

Then I get what your getting.

I did turn auto aim help off too think works for mouse too but not tested it .

I think i solved the issue.
I turned on NVIDIA Reflex in On + Boos
NVIDIA DLSS on performance
DLSS Model in TRANSFORMER
Sensitivity 70 (vertical and horizontal)
Multiplayer of zoom at 30%

That works for me

I'm p laying on 2k, 8k polling rate at 320hz if it helps

IT IS WHAT HAPPENS TO ME LOL
I'll be waiting to the fix :c
You have to set your mouse polling rate to 250hz or lower to fix the negative acceleration.
This is a common issue with unreal engine 4 games that do not include mouse accel/smoothing in game options on release and eventually do(marvel rivals for example). Add these lines to the config file at "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\PioneerGame\Saved\Config\WindowsClient" called "GameUserSettings.ini".

[/script/engine.inputsettings]

RawMouseInputEnabled=Enabled

bEnableMouseSmoothing=False

bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

Also no this is not cheating or anything dont worry, this exact fix has been used in many UE4 games and has never been considered a cheat/exploit. Setting mouse polling rate below 250hz does also prevent the mouse accel too which also is not cheating.

Can anyone confirm this works? I'd rather not pay (and refund) if the game doesn't accept these. Considering Arc Raiders uses UE5, I'm worried

Just set your mouse to 250hz or lower. That actually works. The other commands probably won't because this is UE5, not UE4. Hopefully they will patch this to allow for 1000hz+ in the future.
It seems to work or at least feel kind of normal with a polling rate of 1000hz, but at 4k+ it's annoying how much it slows down

It's possible this worked at some point, but it absolutely does not now :(

Feels like a new game, thank you! Going from this to The Finals, which is their own game, felt so night and day it was a painful swap. Now it feels more in line with every other shooter. I'm sure they'll patch ASAP, but this fixes it all the same for now. TY!
do you type that command under the graphic settings?

Does this mess with the aim? I'm curious how I've never heard about UE-specific acceleration.
