Arc Raiders Discord LFG 30+ (~1,300 members in 2 days!)

Hey all,

Myself and a few others set a Discord for gamers approaching 30 and over — not because we hate the younger crowd, but because sometimes it’s just nice to chat with people who truly understand the joys of back pain, mortgage rates, and having to say “sorry, kid emergency” in the middle of a game.

Man has it taken off! In the last two days we're acquired ~1,300 people from one Reddit post. The hype is real, and the chance to hang with people in your own age bracket and mentality really is popular. The server is extremely positive, super fleshed out with channels, voice chats, LFG, and more!

We did something similar with Helldivers 2 and it below up and we had a few thousand members within the first two weeks of launch.

21 year old steam account, My guy, The guy who created this thread was 9 year old when you first signed up for steam. And he thinks he is old hahaha.

I mean, I would have been 13 but still. Haha. The back pain was more for humor sake, but no one can deny when you pass 30 your back dies off a bit. lol...

That being said, 30 isn't the hard line for the discord. We arent truly kicking anyone because of age. It was more for finding more adult and (I hesitate to say it) mature players who just want to chill and game of the older crowd. Its a much more chill atmosphere without the teens unruly younger crowd sometimes.
