Pay to Win?

I didn't play the game yet. But I just saw this video which claims that the game could have pay to win. It shows that Battle Pass includes not only cosmetics, but also real in-game items, including weapon packs with weapons and weapons parts. So, will it be a pay to win, really?

Each battlepass has like 3 packs that at most iirc give you green gear. These battlepasses can easily be obtained for free by just playing the game.

Given how little you get, how easy it is to get and how little advantage gear actually gives you in combat, I would personally say, no, it's not pay to win. It's not even pay to skip progression or whatever cope p2w defenders tend to give.

I played 40hrs + in the play test, I don't know if you could buy in game currency but I didn't. I earned enough to buy the battlepass and skins.. I didn't bother with the battlepass tho, I upgraded my stash and bought skins instead. I would say it may be pay 2 progress a bit faster but not necessarily P2W. I don't think it will be an issue.

It's not pay 2 win. You can earn premium credits to get the little battlepasses ingame. It's pay to get slightly ahead for a game.
