As someone who plays Hunt Showdown, I understand Anvil hitting hard. It's the Uppercut from Hunt. The problem is that that gun makes sense in Hunt. In doesn't in Arc Raiders. They need to choose a direction. Where are they taking this game? If Anvil remains this good as a single action revolver, then what's the f'ing poing of the many other semi and automatic weapons that shoot peas? Even more so if the enemy has a purple shield. Pea shooters don't do sht to that shield.
As for the Torrente, IMO that thing is broken. All weapons have very limited mags. This has 70 bullets! SEVENTY! It shoots fast, it has good accuracy close to medium distances and... it doesn't heat up!!! These are the same devs from Battlefront 2. We had LMGs over there. They heat up. And that worked. They had tons of bullets, but also did the enemies with assault rifles. This needs to go. You can get your Stitcher, Anvil, you name it, and you might as well shove it when you stumbled upon someone with a Torrente because they will shred you to pieces in literally 1 second.
Well, to be fair, I fought the Torrente twice while having better aim than my opponents and I never had a purple shield to tank it. I can show you the clips if you'd like. I got shredded. lol
