You didn't get in because it wasn't possible for everyone who wanted in to get in.
There was a finite number of people invited, and the invite a friend option was effectively turned off during the test.
I have no idea why your political affiliation or gender, or any other irrelevant personal detail, would be something the game developer would be aware of.
You weren't being unfairly treated, it wasn't some elaborate conspiracy to keep you out, there simply wasn't enough space for everyone.
I regret typing this for a deliberate bait thread, but in this day and age you never know as there are some seriously egotistical sociopaths lurking on the internet, so there's the response.
I played, all 5 days, and invited friends who couldn't get in, I know what I'm talking about.
That's how me and my friend got the access. It was on Sunday.
Dude you are the one talking nonsense, if you didn't get any problem getting an invitation from someone and accessing the techtest it doesn't mean it was the case for everyone.
Embark had problem with "invite a friend" not working properly and communicated on it almost everyday on their discord.
Let me try one more time, and try to pay attention.
I didn't say that everyone who was invited by a friend was unable to get in, I said plenty of people didn't get in.
First, I explained to you that both my friend and I invited several people and none could ever use the invite to get in to the test, it wasn't working, despite multiple attempts across several days.
Second, there were also numerous threads in this discussions page with people asking why they couldn't get in, why they couldn't invite their friends etc...
The developers themselves posted in several places explaining that the invite system had been stopped for a time, and it meant many people couldn't get in through Steam or Epic, though some console invites were still working.
Had you been here and payed attention you would seen this - and therefore you would been informed enough to appreciate my post.
Instead, you explained that because YOU and YOUR friends got in that means everyone else did...and that's not the case.
There's nothing you can tell me that will change either of those two things, so save yourself the bother.
You literally said the following:
And literally provided only YOUR own experience as a proof:
And now you're trying to tell me that my counter-argument was bad because it was based on my experience. Seriously, dude?
You're still talking nonsense, period.
I told you the evidence was available, and that this was obvious to anyone reading the information provided.
I have my own experience, and the experience of others to verify I was not alone in my observation.
Do you understand?
Embark, the developers, made social media posts telling people the invite system was being paused as it wasn't working as intended.
You, tell me that you got your friends in with no issue...which I cannot prove, and I suspect you can't either!
I can prove that many people COULDN'T get in, and that Embark STOPPED the invite system for some time.
Thus, my statement was correct in so far as the "ability to play was stopped" and the resulting questions that filled the discussions asking why it wasn't working offered corroborating evidence and so I made an assertion based on that supporting evidence and my own observations.
You see how that works?
I have, at least something to back up my claim whereas you have nothing...just your word you did everything you say did, and a seething need to try and score points in this boring little argument.
Are you lonely?
Maybe, get a pet?
Now, I suggest you give up on this because you aren't going to change the facts as they stand, and I also don't believe anything you say, and the weight of supporting evidence is tipped significantly in my favour which is enough to give my opinion validity and render yours meaningless and irrelevant...lol.
Run along, little boy, run along.
