- 3PP was an absolute no-go for me at first but it kinda grew on me and I think it is a fine
decision for this game.
- Sound design is outstanding.
- I love the AI, How they interact with each other, move through terrain and react to impact.
This is the first extraction game I played with meaningful PvE that enriches the whole
experience.
Will be my game of the year. It hits all the right spots.
Right on. The PvP was so satisfying. No other PvPvE game managed it like Arc Raiders. Although I felt without the option to be free and enjoye the PvE because it attracts PvP. The only way I found to do PvE safely, as a solo, was to wait for the 15min mark and find bots on the edges of the map.
I already dread trying to solo the Queen for the core.
That one is probably not possible solo as it requires a massive damange output in order to kill it. I almost killed the Bastion by myself, but I ran out of time after destroying all of its legs. There's probably an optimal way of going about it, but I didn't have the time to figure it out. I got a key on the last 2 couple of days and I was experimenting with other stuff like PvP, geras and quests besides this.
Yeah. They took away the Quick Swap, but players with a dot software can still kinda do it. They added tons of spammy weapons and stupid magic traits to make the game easier and watered down for complete noobs. Not to mention that they nerf things based on how much a weapon is used. Ridiculous thinking.
Yeah. I've seen many like this. They love Tarkov, but it's too hard.
I'm not sure. I haven't used it and it wasn't used it against me throught the test. I know from watching 2 videos that you need to hit a weak spot on top of the Queen once she is about to fire. I'm not sure how effective it would be on non-weak spots.
Yeah. I haven't tested it myself, but I discovered later that you can recycle things on the fly and bundle up the loot in your inventory. So getting to know what turns into what might be useful instead of just disregarding stuff you don't need as it happens in others games of the genre.
