Yeah, kinda. I may spend that kind of time in a game if I'm super hyped and if I have friends playing with me, but not on a game that doesn't respect my time. Investing time to build your hideout, killing players, getting their gears, farming, looting, grinding, then getting into the match you see a guy, you make the best play possible, you spend about 20min from spawn to that place where you will engage the enemy, you hit him dead on in the head and then... DEAD. He killed you in a totally BS situation. That's disrespectful af of the devs.
I think its meant to mix up not so good aimers and with good aimers. So you never know whats gonna happen in the match. And a bit weaker aimer could have change of survived if he have heavy armors, but he might be slow and getting cought by Arcs robots.
There for new casual players can join the game more easily. If the game is too hard skill like Naraka. It would be just too big skillcap to even start to play the game.
I mean you can play this game with very skillful and tactical ways , if players want. Or just go bang bang yolo on open field. Or sneaky sneaky whole game... xD Anything is option this game. Or set traps around buildings. There is so many fun ways to play this game.
But I agree its so annoying getting shot from camber angle. You walking and not even see enemies.
Not really. You can play sneaky, tactically, skillfuly, whatever you can think of... all that goes out the window when you face someone with a secret higher lever armor with an insane OP weapon like Torrente. You'll sneak a headshot with an Anvil and the guy will just tank it and shred you to pieces.
Yep. Another game I didn't even bother just because of the armor system, plus the complementary classes system, which is an abomination. At least we don't have the latter in Arc Raiders.
Good advice! Thanks. But that would handicap you because you'd rely on the shield completely breaking. If it's at 30% - judging by how many times you shot the guy with whatever weapon - it's already good enough for you to bum rush.
That is an excellent suggestion! I'm not saying it's better or worse than what I said, but I like when people spitball good ideas. I hope devs read this.
It starts at 3:00.
One more. At 9:20 this dude just changes armor while pushing forward so he doesn't even have to stop to recharge the one that is broken. Jesus... There should be a down time to swap armor.

do not pick a fight unless you know what you're up against or have some sort of tactical advantage. this isnt your typical shooter where every fight is equal nor is it supposed to be.
if you consider this a problem, the genre is not for you. its not a problem with the game.
