LOL, stop with the faded take. It for sure is a pretty big cost to host servers. They most likely run them in the cloud which enables them to only be charged for what they use so yeah running the Tech Test costs them some serious coin for sure.
Having 20 years within IT infrastructure I would say I have a really good idea on the costs of hosting server infrastructure for a large amount of users, and it gets expensive pretty quickly.
And you aren't the only one in the IT space dude
The initial post basically implied to leave the tech test up until the game is finished. Big difference from letting it run another week.
