This game NEEDS a Solo or Offline, PVE mode...

I don't like the possibility of playing against cheaters normally and I especially hate it in extraction shooters; where they have a greater personal impact to regular players. Having a cheater ruin my fully geared run will completely annihilate any enjoyment for me.

I want the ability to actively not even have a chance at playing against them. A solo or offline mode, that's PVE only, is the way to do that.

On top of that, It will open the game to a wider audience by making the game more accessible to casual/older/disabled gamers who might not be able to keep up with your average competitive 20yo.

Also, I think having more options for players to play the way they want is always good. The game looks amazing and I want everyone to be able to enjoy it.

People who want a harder game can just play the regular default PVP mode and people like me who hate cheaters, or want an easier experience can play PVE. Win-win.

Maybe simply decide that this game is not for you, then? It's a PvPvE extraction shooter. I don't know what else to say.

You can play SP Tarkov or Helldivers if you want PvE/co-op.

I don't understand why people would be against having an extra option for players. Why does it NEED to only have PvPvE? Why not also an extra mode for PVE enjoyers? You keep your mode and we get ours.

This is literally a win-win. The only reason I can think is gatekeeping.

They could add a PVE side, it doesnt even have to be easier, just add a lot more AI enemies to the map, still make it hard, but just gain 25/50% of the XP on PVE modes seeing as they wont have to deal with players as well as AI.

Well that's the beauty of having a PVE mode; it requires little to no maintenance and it doesn't even need to be balanced because it's singleplayer and has no bearing on the PVP mode.

If it's better than PVP, fantastic. On par with PVP, great. Slightly worse, that's still OK because it's an extra mode for those that want to play it, otherwise they can just stay on PVP.

As someone who's actually played the game, no it doesn't need a PvE mode. The charm of this game includes the risk of PVP encounters.

If you want PvE mode, go play Helldivers, which is excellent.

PVE isn't for you, and that's OK, but there are people who like and prefer PVE. Having this extra mode doesn't affect you or any other person who will be playing the PVP. I don't understand why anyone can be against this. Just sounds like gatekeeping.

It's like with Tarkov. All the PvP lovers scream and trash-talk the PvE enjoyers, trying to belittle them or push them out of the game. The only explanation I see is that PvP sweats are scared there’ll be fewer low-level players left for them to farm and stroke their fragile egos. Speaking as a Tarkov player with 1k+ hours in PvP—even a year after PvE was added, there’s still more than enough PvP action in the game

I for one really like this game alot but i am with haveing a pve option only mode heck tarkov has one grayzone has one i get it many love pvp but many of us like pve also

I personally don't see an issue as long as progress in pvpve and pve are kept completely separate.

The reality is having modes that cater to both tends to help the game survive and possibly thrive. Even Tarkov, which for years had refused to add a true PvE mode eventually changed their minds when they saw how hugely popular AKI SPT was.

not interested into pvpve extraction stuff, but a good pve mode for that game would be very nice (extraction / rogue like / good pve event) could benefit a lot for thoses excellent maps.

And who care about thoses angry "pvper" playing the toxic agressive though guy because they fight others players pixels

There will always be a crowd for pve, like there will always be for pvp

My 2 cents: If they had a PvE only mode, I would play it no questions asked. The game looks absolutely amazing, but the dealbreaker for me is PvP.

I accept that the game is not for me, even if I love basically everything the game has, except for the PvP. This means I am not a potential player as long as it remains that way.

I am totally fine with it not having a PvE mode, it just means I will not play it, thought I might watch it and admire it. However, if it had a PvE mode I would be in. There are not many extraction shooters that are PvE focused, and I like the idea of challening content with my friends where we actually risk losing our stuff: Basically all the stuff that are in extraction games except for the PvP appeals to me.

I don't think this takes away from people who want to play it PvP, but I am also not so bothered about it that I will ask the devs to add it unless they want to.

How did PVE ruin Tarkov? is it ruined because you dont have to deal with non stop cheaters? or because you can just relax and have fun at your own pace? have nothing smart to say than just shut the hell up
