Either this is best game ever OR all the hype was paid for

This thing is blowing up my YouTube feed and every single thumbnail and title says something along the lines of:
- This is the next big thing
- This game is actually insane
- Future of extraction shooters

And 99% of these are from never-heard-of-them before streamers with like <2k followers and they are total garbage at the game.

You do have the big-name streamers playing as well, but I don't think I've ever seen a game like this with sooooo many eyebrow-raising videos at the same time.

Meanwhile, I don't know a single "normal person" who is playing.

The game is rubbish... Totally interchangeable with almost any other futuristic sci-fi post apocalyptic shooter out there. Source: I'm playing it right now to convince myself it's good, but so far it's not working.

It's coming from Embark so I fully expect it to live up to the hype. As an example OperatorDrewski made a video glazing the game and he also admitted that it was 100% not sponsored or paid for by Embark.

Yea. i'm stoked for it personally. I've avoided these types of games for years because I felt like they were all either janky inventory management sims or twitchy arena shooters trying to make a buck off a genre trend. This looks like a legit sweet spot to me.

From what I've seen it's looking pretty insane and it's only a playtest. Not even a full version. And what I like is that they have a really really solid base here that they can continue to build on.

Why don’t you like the Finals? It’s the first FPS game I’ve played in a while that actually innovates in its gameplay and runs smoothly on low end hardware. My guess is that the gamemodes are too complex to pick up quickly for the majority of the audience.

I just watched a streamer play it for about 6 hours while I was working and it looks like a lot of fun.. I have like 4 or 5 other friends who are all chomping at the bit wanting to play test it.
