every pvp game especially extraction shooters have hackers. Most of these developers dont even run a decent antihack and if they do its the free version that just runs off of logs. Just look at marauders game died so fast because it was littered with hackers. People that say there isnt cheaters dont have a clue how to even identify a cheater.

It will have the same faith as Marauders. If they add a price tag for this game it's already dead. It has to be free to play because it has in app purchases and a battlepass. There is no point paying an entry fee at all. The cheating, whenever released will hit hard.

Why do either of you care? You won't play the game, regardless of if it has cheaters or not. If you can't handle dying to a cheater once every 5 or so games, you won't handle playing an extraction shooter.

Hopefully Embark takes this seriously and add a good kernel level anticheat. I think that plus making the game not free will be enough to have them at bay. Ban them once and having them to spend another $40 bucks to cheat again? They probably will just go elsewhere to cheat.

Many examples of games with a price tag that are still infested with cheaters out there, yes. But i think the key is willing and planning from devs. They need a dedicated HUMAN team to scout socials for cheaters, vendors, resellers and streamers cheating. Infiltrate such groups, buy, run and test the cheats to reverse engineer them so they can detect and issue massive bans.

This in combination with a price tag WILL deter most of these cockroaches to be active on this game. They will go to less pesky games such as Warzone, Tarkov, DMZ, Hunt Showdown, etc.

The finals is f2p and I'd say they have the cheater situation down fairly well, I think arc will be fine.
