Is it possible that you no longer get access if you requested it on the day the game was announced, while everyone who is requesting access now is somehow getting it?

He just saw the button to play appear on arc. I'm sure you get an email aswell

It's an issue that happens pretty much every time when signing up for playtests on Steam. If the duration between signing up and the playtest starting is "too long" it seems like the early sign ups are "forgotten". I've seen it happen with multiple titles by now where at some point there was a Community Note by the Devs talking about the issue of people who signed up early not getting invites was finally fixed and they will send them out.

So yeah, best bet usually is to wait when you see a sign up for a test until the test is just a few weeks/days ahead.

I mean i have read, that u can reset your request in Steam.
But sadly i dont know how it worked anymore.

That's what it feels like. I requested access the day the Steam page went live, about an hour before the game was announced. And I've never been invited to any of the play tests.

edit: So I just went to the official Arc Raiders website and signed up for the play test on there. They have an option to do the play test on Epic Games, Xbox, or PS5 so I chose Epic Games and got in instantly. Even though I've been signed up on Steam for 2+ years. Yea something is definitely broken for people that signed up early on Steam.

Don't worry, the steamers will play for 1-3 days and then never play again and go back on Tarkov or CoD...

how did you make the request to play on epic? during the survey every time I select an answer it gives me an error and makes me do it again from the beginning

Wife signed up few hours before launch. Got access. Awesomesauce.
