any news on the game?

Non - 40 year old man crying about no pve - poster here.

Any news at all on the progress of the game? Any upcoming playtests?

Will this be launched before GTA6? That's the question.

Devs should undertsnad that launching game too late will bring them to fail in sales.
2nd part of the year will have far more new releases than the time now where it's almost nothing to play at the moment.

That's true, especially since the launch period for GTA has been confirmed

I don't know if the play test went well. To me the game seemed generic with quests leading to Points of Interest to force you into other players with out much pay off. Killing ♥♥♥♥ armed nobodies isn't fun for either side and the PvE felt silly most of the time. I have no problem with PvP being the game but what is the point when they don't have any loot worth a ♥♥♥♥ to take or when the PvP is just a line a people running to the sound to be the 3rd,4th,5th, or 6th party.

The PvE was OK but if you tried to play as PvE you would just cause yourself to be a target.

I think they are lost and are re working the game. I feel like the game is made to sell cosmetics outside of The Finals.

Or maybe they are just taking their time, adding polish, ensuing quality, and releasing the game that they want to make. Just because a bunch of eager fans are getting impatient or because other games are coming out quicker, is not a reason to rush. Maybe they have ownership and leaders that understand artistry and are not beholden to investors or publishing companies looking to make a quick buck.

Or maybe the game sucks. I am hoping it is the former :)

I was genuinely excited about this game. I felt like the foundation and direction was fresh, and promising. All aspects from pve,pvp,questing,loot, hideout/out of game experience need tweaking for sure; but if they built upwards on what they had it would be a success. Not hearing anything since the last playtest is concerning though.
