oh its my grace and dignity. How about devs changing their minds over night? PvP Extraction shooter is an overinflated market. This game won't survive a year. It'll have cheaters no matter what price they charge. History archived many examples of this.

People already forgeting one of the best? The Cycle Frontier.. Another extraction shooter, and was probably the best mix of casual and hardcore players, due to how it was setup.

Just sucks they released it with zero anti cheat, and cheaters destroyed it... If not for that one boneheaded mistake, it would probably be one of the most popular ones on the market right now.

That's true man.. but you said it yourself, the PvP crowd has two Outstanding quality games only in the extraction genre specifically, there are more (i hate pvp and i HAVE to admit they are amazing games). -> Hunt and EFT
Finals is also a good game.
Battlefield is...eh.. some people play Battlefield too.
Delta Force and Arena Breakout are coming too, promising titles.

What does the PvE crowd have? Oh right... DESTINY 2... Pay me another 40EUR so i can sunset more content later Destiny..
And Helldivers 2.. that has to be the biggest suicide in gaming history with the unbelievable mistakes Sony did.

Outside of State of decay 3 (and waiting on Witchfire to get more content) i am excited for exactly nothing on the horizon. Was one of the people who took an interest in ARC when they said looter shooter..and then BAM ..pvp=)

It's not about PVP existing. It's about it being forced on the player. Plenty of games manage to have both.

I wouldn't say anybody lost before we see how the game performs. Can't wait for the "we didn't expect this many players" routine and long ques/network issues. It might die before it even gets enough content to keep players interested.

Even the hardest PVE games are designed for the player to ultimately win. That's not the case with Extraction Shooters and that's the reason why all of you can't stop crying about it.
