Maybe it's something that could be added down the road? I really despise 3rd person shooters, and this would have been infinitely more exciting if it were a FPS game instead.

Sure, there's other Extraction shooters that are First Person, but none of them have nailed the formula down quite yet. It would be a lengthy post going through the current market and why they're not that appealing, even for someone that almost exclusively plays shooters.

TLDR; +1 to have a First Person Mode in the future? See if there is an actual interest for it.

I'm not saying they will add it, but its super easy to add a second Camera in Unreal engine 5. You can basically copy / duplicate the Third person camera then manually adjust it slightly in front of the players head. Inside of the camera itself is numerous settings to adjust if needed.

They probably just didn't want it First Person.

yeah the 3rd person ADS was really crappy really the only big issue i had was the gun play. everything else was great. if they add a first person ADS aspect similar to what pubg did where you play as 3rd person but when you ADS it was down the iron sights or scope. id preorder after that change was made. done deal
