People are getting worked up because a company added PvP in MAY, months prior to a playtest, and issued an official statement regarding the change, being as transparent as they can be about it, and some people still complain that "PVP is gonna kill the game" in december.
It's been 7 months since then. You figure people would find a good PvE game to play in 7 months, since there are thousands of options avaiable on Steam.
Also, the fact that Cycle and Day before died off because of budget reasons and/or foul play by their studios mean ♥♥♥♥ to this game. Extraction shooters is a fairly new genre, and there aren't many cases to draw on about success, but Hunt showdown has a healthy playerbase, just as Greed is Good and Tarkov. The fact that PVE players don't like PvP does not mean the game will die.
People are just crazy, impatient and entitled to think theis tastes are the market's default.
That is why they cry hacking every time they are beaten in pvp because of course it couldn't have been fair, if it was they would have won...they are amazing after all.
Nobody cares about Co-op anymore!!!
so yeah, good luck with your game, if I want pvp I would go back to Rust, not another extraction shooter, you make 2 FPS PVP games in a year, good choice, I hope you make a lot of money in your store
none of it will be mine!!! and here I thought you cared about all players making one good PVP game and one good PVE game, but I was wrong. Corporate greed once again means zero love for war
All games become so boring that it's the same everywhere
PVP PVP PVP PVP PVP PVP
and what's more, it's single player
Game development is in a terrible place right now
just like the entire entertainment industry
Movies, games, series, it all turns into one big, boring, stale mess
You just get fed this crap for ages and I'm sick of it
If I could, I'd ask Epic Games "Whats yalls numbers of people who paid for, and still play Save The World mode?" I almost always get matchmade, when I choose to use matchmaking, so it must still be going strong for an 8 year old PvE game.
Doesn't make that a crybaby yourself?
Fun fact that was what Fortnite was originally about. But sadly PvP games bring more money to the purse for devs. Because in PvP games your fancy skins purchased with hard earned money will be visible by much more people thus "motivating" them to purchase some themselves.
There are not that many PvP games because they are better. Not by far. Only because they are more profitable for the developers.
Look pal, choose your POV: Will this game fail because of PVP, or PVP make games profitable?
Do yourself a favor a go play something you enjoy playing. you are clearly not the target audience for this game and I have no idea what you hope to accomplish by acting the way you are acting here.
Godspeed, find your own thing.
PvP games are always more profitable. For the developers. But that doesn't mean that the gamers profit from that too.
I see this being an issue that people think that just because a company is making more money of something, that is also good for them.
yeah sorry I don't want to play PvP anymore because every single PvP game is filled with hackers
really? a game thats been out for a couple of days is your go to? lets see how long hell divers is a relevant topic when all the pve players finish playing through the game and never come back lol
the what about : cycle frontier ???? huh?
that went really wel did it not? after a half year the game closed due to the hacker problem and no one wanting to play it anymore.
arc raiders is going on the exact same road as they did...
good job you never played the cycle (your profile is public bud guess what you never played cycle lol). But hey you watched a uninformed youtube video lol. cycle devs were terrible, from scamming content creators to deciding to take the game away from its pvp focus and focusing entirely on only adding pve content. Thats just off the top of my head you could write an article about the failures of that dev team. but hey lets use the cycle to measure the success of every extraction shooter for the future lol. cycle failed so everyone else must fail as well lol
