Star Force.

Has anyone read anywhere they plan to do the same thing with the Star Force series? This is very exciting. Didnt wake up today and plan to see something this amazing. Maybe they can do it twice.

Based on the trend of these collections, the chance of a Star Force collection is pretty high. There hasn't been any word however.

If this does well and they make a new game to the series. I'm going to probably lose my mind. In the mean time I suppose its bass hunting season.

Haven't played Star Force in a long time so I could be wrong, but the only thing that I think might make the SF collection difficult to make is if the games required much use of the touch screen on the DS.

God I hope so. Starforce was absolutely fantastic of a series, and I actually followed the story through all the games. It was really enjoyable of a series.

So far, each following game was teased in the predecessors gallary.
For instance, MMLC had concept art for MM11, MMZXLC had a suspiciously remastered image of Zero that looked like the artwork used on the Z-Saber battlechip etc.

So i'd say there's a good chance that this coillection's gallery will also feature an easter egg like that. My bets are on a "random" Star Force battle card.

I played them all. well what versions I could afford at the time. I did leo, for the first game, can't remember the second name, and I do believe I did black ace for the third. unless that was the second one then i cant remember what I did for the third game.

whats so fun about this SF? just curious as to what is exciting for a plot that i would consider doo doo. yes i didnt play the game i read through the story watch the game play and tbh MMBN is 10x better both in plot game mechanics. This being said this is my opinion but would like to hear from others as to why they consider this series decent-good or playable.

It's kind of like Battle Network but dumbed down.
You're playing from a third person perspective of just 3 panels instead of a 3x3 grid + whatever you used areagrab on. So it plays significantly differently when it comes to cards like sword and bombs.
You still have areagrab but instead of increasing your side of the field, it drags the enemies closer. You would think that would make sword cards useless but pressing back on I think the d-pad allows you to warp to an enemy to attack.

With Capcom nothing is a given. We thought MML3 was a given until they canceled it out of the blue...

It's pretty obvious at this point that they're doing Legacy Collections for all the individual Mega Man series. Star Force will probably be next in 2 or 3 years, then Legends 2 or 3 years after that. IIRC this also reflects the release order of the events introducing characters from each series into Rockman X DiVE for the first time. If my memory isn't failing me it went Classic, Zero, ZX, Battle Network, Star Force, Legends. X series doesn't count because it's the primary series the game is based on.

Starforce kinda long conned their story by making it about recovering from depression and trying to rebuild your life. And each game works with that theme in different ways. Combat wise it’s a bit dumbed down but it’s still fairly intense action.
