It has all the tools for a good game, But it falls short. I'd give a neutral review if possible. The characters aren't compelling. the voice acting isn't compelling. combat's not bad, but it's also repetitive. And that's 99% of what the game has to offer. upgrades are mostly linear. ship customization is very limited. The most fun I had was a brief mission where I piloted basically a moving fortress. Dunno. just okay, but i don't normally recommend games that are just okay to people.

Chorvs is the Lidl version of Everspace 2. Do yourself a favour and buy Everspace 2 instead.

lots of like, lots to hate.

the good stuff is the combat, zipping around and navigating behind enemies and blasting them feels fantastic. the game is gorgeous in the right moments

the bad. the constant whispering voiceovers from the main character absolutely did my head in, the objectives are often obscured, next stages of missions are often confusing and disorienting especially if you've just been in a fight.

Also the checkpoint system will sometimes throw you into a situation where you're 1 milisecond away from death, and unless you've got another save you're ♥♥♥♥ outta luck.
