Can't get up first hill???

Hi Just started the demo and I can't get past the first hill. After passing the swing and crucified body.... I can't be that bad at the game...

Anyone had the same issue?

Looks like a bug. On my first save, I just passed through the checkpoint and could not turn back. I made a new save and it worked to where I could turn around.

You need to turn around and move to the left.

I couldn't trun around or anything. After a restart it triggered the cutscen of you getting off the bike

Not encouraging to see this post from months ago when I just ran into the same issue. I'm glad to know it's a bug, but damn is it a frustrating one.
I'm only guessing there's a button to allow you to turn around, but I can't see why you'd completely disable it just because it's an opening sequence and going through a tutorial.

Yup, that was my issue with the demo, I had to restart about 6 times because I kept moving past too fast and going over the trigger zone for the tutorial to unlock the ability for me. I just went over as slow as I could and I got a modal which allowed me to actually control the bike. It's surprising to see that they had that bug back in june and didn't fix it.
