Do I even need this game if I have Sonic Mania?
Seems like the same SEGA Games from the 90s again?

Well duh, the whole point of this is to play the 4 classic genesis games in widescreen, Mania is basically an officially licensed fan game that reimagined various original levels with some new levels on top while these are the original levels.

If you enjoy Mania and feel like its enough and don't want to buy origins then don't but Mania is basically the a sprite based version of Generations but this game is the whole original package.

What do you mean what's the difference? Mania and Origins are two completely different games with their own levels. Mania is sort of collection of various re-imagined classic levels but Origins is 4 games each with their own set of levels. I guess you haven't played Sonic Generations to understand what I was trying to say.

For example Mania includes the Chemical Plant zone from Sonic 2 but Origins includes Sonic 2 itself as a whole game like how Sonic Generations includes City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 but Sonic Adventure 2 is a whole game.

TLDR - Mania was made as a "best of" the classic games while Origins is a collection of the classic games in their entirety, if you enjoyed Sonic Mania and want more sprite based Sonic games then Sonic Origins is that.
