IIRC its Jump + Y button for xbox and Sonic 1 + CD doesn't have super unless they added it for Origins.

Origins is 4 games, which one Are you trying to do it in and are you using controller or keyboard?

In either case you'll first need 50 rings and then if you're on controller then you need to jump and then press the Y or Pyramid button and for keyboard you also have to jump and press the activation button in the key bindings.

Unless they changed it, the first set of chaos emeralds don't give super sonic (sonic 1) and the second set are time emeralds that don't give super sonic either (sonic cd). The first time super sonic activates is in sonic 2 where Tails appears.

Fyi Sonic 3 is technically two games, Sonic 3 + Sonic and Knuckles so once you get to Mushroom Hill zone the emeralds will reset because its the start of the second half and you'll need to find another super ring to start the process of collecting the super emeralds to be able to transform again.

If I remember correctly the options are on the museum tab, I don't remember if its the flick island or the eggman island, I think its the Flicky Island (from 3D Blast) if Eggman Island (from Pinball) is the mission menu.
