im not complaining about dlcs, but...
everyone on pc paid for the game.
everyone on mobile got the game for free.
if they are in such desperate need for money, why didn't they sell the mobile game for money instead of giving it away for free?
and couldve made the dlcs free instead... they wouldve made so much more money...

i aint complaing its just 2€ , but it feels like every month now. its getting slightly annoying.

If they just cared about money, they would be selling the game for more than $5 and the DLCs for more than $2.50, and they wouldn't have made the mobile version free.

Base game is free on mobile, but the expansions cost money still.

"I'm not complaining"

proceeds to complain

If i remember correctly, the basegame is free on mobile, because they had to port it on their own with zero prior experience due to mobile port companies being absolutely cancerous leeches. That's at least the reasoning i was told by some person at some point.

They aren't forced ads though, you can easily beat the game without ever watching an ad.

Mobile is a different market, and usually games are priced cheaper than they are on PC. Free is a smart way to go because most of the phone market is free apps rather than paid. VS not only has to compete with other free apps in general, but there are many free games in the same genre. I can't think of any survivor-likes on mobile that are paid up front.

Also, it is fair because everyone can play it for free on phone so long as they have a compatible phone, and everyone has to pay for it on PC.

Plus even pisspoor folks like me can try the game out on mobile before spending even the few bucks it costs (which for some unfortunate folks might be a days meal they need already)

Do you have a phone? If it bugs you so much just play it on there.

I've only seen them as a "you died, watch an ad to revive here once, or wallow in your failure" scenario on mobile. Feels bad regardless to constantly be offered them. I think there was an option to pay to remove them, but many mobile games will still offer them after that point with incentives, I haven't done it with VS yet.

If you buy any of the DLCs you can disable the option to be prompted to watch ads.
