Saint Germain starts with globus. Take the gemini arcana. Thats it.

I just tried that, and I am still at 379, missing the exact same item as the OP.

If i should hazard a reason, you picked a different starting item on Saint Germain. Make sure he have Globus and not Spectral Sword.

I think what happened is that it does not count if you evolve it before getting Gemini.

Just flip inverse for the merchant to sell arcanas right from the start. Though you should also be able to get a starting arcana on new map.
