Sometimes weapons stop showing up in level-ups

This happens very rarely but I noticed that there's time where you're leveling up a weapon, but for no reason you just can't level it up anymore. One example so you understand what I mean:

I pick up the Victory Sword, level it up all the way to level 9 but suddenly you never get the option to level it up further, despite not banishing it. Even when all your other weapons / passives are maxed out, you won't get Victory Sword to show up anymore.
I have no idea why this happens but it's a bit frustrating, especially when it happens on important items like the Metaglios or something.

Anybody know what I'm talking about? Has this happened to anybody else?

Never experienced this myself. I have a few questions to clarify though.

So when you level up are you just seeing options like chicken or money instead of the final level up for the item ?

Or is it just other items are showing up instead of the one you want to show up (could be bad luck not getting it) ?

I usually play endless mode , 6 weapons , evolve all weapons, limit break on , never had a situation where an item that could level up but doesn't show up like in the first questions example.

Plenty of times I've had the second one where the item I really want to be leveled up just is not showing up but that is bad luck and once everything else was leveled you start seeing the rest.

My best guess is you accidentally banished, it can be easy to do if you are moving right while the level up happens and you confirm without reading. I have so many things Sealed from the main menu that if I banish one in game it's hard to even see it on the banished list.

But If you think it is a bug you should take a screen shot or video to show what is happening and submit it to the big reports section, it might help the dev pinpoint it.

Especially if it is the first scenario where the item is not banished , still has levels available AND you are instead getting the money/chicken option instead of the option to level it up.

Yup that's what I mean, one of my items is close to maxing out but then you just never see it again, all I get is chicken / money, or the infinite levelups for other weapons. I'm sure I didn't accidentally banish it because when you do, the banished items are at the bottom of the levelup selection and I always check that list.
For some reason it happens to me a few times with the Metaglio items, but also with weapons, but as I said just very rarely.

I know it's a weird issue, I should've made a screenshot or something.

Next time it happens, try to capture a screenshot or recording.

We haven't seen any other reports of something like this happening, but if it keeps happening, please let us know!
