Abyss Foscari doesnt start me in the right place and there are no crystal seals

I destroyed the seal of the bannished first and now when i go into the abyss foscari as maruto, half of the map is blocked by darkness and i cannot access the seal of the abyss to unlock luminaire. All online guides tell me is that i shouldve done maruto first but no one seems to have encountered this issue. Help pls, how do i fix this?

You need to shatter the red crystal with Maruto's upgraded weapon, Head south as far as you can go then head west beyond a series of pillars. You'll find the crystal in that general area.

i know what i’m meant to do, my issue is that i am literally unable to do it. Like my game will not let me access that area.

There is another path you can take in the abyss.
If you try going right after the first upper opening, you'll face the barrier.
There's another path going upwards past that one.

I am not spawned in the correct place, i am spawned in utter darkness, i move slightly west and theres a 2 tile wide platform that i can walk on but once i touch it i cant walk off. im able to walk off the edges of part of the map, i dont know what the issue is bc ive reinstalled and verified files etc

I think I'm having the same issue you have; try to turn off the inverse option and see if it changes anything.

i ended up just standing in the darkness on top of where i saw the question mark, made sure i had max armor and max exkizzibur/legionaire and then just waited a couple minutes. I think you might be right about inverse im not sure though.

I had this issue, I solved it by turning off inverse. I guess I should have posted/reported this issue to the dev.

Turn off inverse. True. Had the same issue.

Odd. I played that map with inverse mode, and even did the achievements regarding it with inverse mode, and I was able to play just fine.
I wonder, is it related to the engine you're playing on?
I played on the new engine.

i wouldnt think so because i tried both beta branch and main release and neither solved the issue.
