Cant start on steam deck

Hey i got my steam deck 2 days ago and can start every game but unfortunately vampire survivors is the only game i cant start when I try to start it steam is starting to load and then send me back to the game selection screen is there any way to fix this

I have the same problem, and I've tried everything, unfortunately so far without success.

hmm this is not much help but i just tested it on my steam deck and it runs fine?

Edit everything on steam deck is default.

Be able to make it work now with the proton GE-Proton7-55 from ProtonUp-QT

try it with proton and then the second option not the first experimental version

I bought the game couple of days ago and could not start it. After pressing start it would stay on black screen with steam logo. So I switched to desktop mode and started it normally from there. After that, I managed to launch it from game mode. Great game btw
