Another Question : Sapphire Mist Darkana
Is it known to be problematic? It's the only thing in the game that's caused me any issues. Used it three times before I figured out it was the culprit. Once was a pretty severe audio/visual glitch. Twice was a CTD.

It's not on my go-to Arcana list, but just wondering if it's bugged. I could be wrong, and it's something else.

I use it a lot, never had any issues. Quite good darkana.
Well hell. Maybe it was a Unity crash then. Couldn't say what caused the crazy glitch. Most of the enemies disappeared, and the ones that remained just ran through me. Most of the weapons' effects and audio disappeared as well. Seems to truly be that particular card, at least for me, but who knows. No worries.

160 hours in (chump change hours :AetherRay: ), and only these three instances over the course of maybe 10 runs/two evenings. I can't complain. Super solid game.

I meant ~10 runs using Sapphire Mist, so three of them were bad runs. That's why I'm assuming it's that card. Sounds contradictory to my original post, but that was the process. "Three of the ~ten times I used it" I should've said. Anywho, cheers to the beers, and thanks for the replies in my two threads.

If you haven't already, you could turn off damage numbers to cut down on the number of objects the game has to handle

Appreciate the suggestion, but I disabled them after a few days' play. From what I've read, it doesn't matter the hardware; too much going on taxes the Unity engine. Reminds me of Doom when too many enemies were on screen.
Especially when fingered.
Yeah, just had my first pseudo crash in my 450h of playtime. Took Sapphire Mist whilst rocking 12 weapons (thank you, Alucart Sworb, you are hilarious) plus Moonlight Bolero and a fully maxed out Greatest Jubilee. Was playing an adventure so I didn't have orologions banished. Suddenly, every enemy permanently froze, most of my weapons stopped firing and the timer hung for a minutes before resuming. Had to restart that map to finally beat the 25min boss.

Sure, I've managed to make the game lag in the old engine but something like this has never happened.

Paranormal Scan plus Time Warp plus Karoma's Mana is capable of causing severe lag.

PS is powerful, but the constant increase of area does NOT play well with Time Warp. Especially if adding 50 enemies on screen with Karoma's Mana.

Definitely works great with one or two weapons after doing Sigma runs with only her sword equipped and all enemies spawning. I probably had too much going on and killed the game.

Haha. Sounds about right. I had a lot going on too when I used it. One or two weapons though, and seems to work without crashing, even when you have the max amount of enemies on the screen that the game will allow. Still plenty of frame dropping, but not terrible.
