Hard cap on cooldown is 15 seconds.
Part of the double-edged sword of using it. If you don't time it correctly you can end up deleting treasure chests, so you need to keep track so you run away from bosses. Done it before with the 11min Arcana chest.
1 level of XP on screen is worth 1 point. Each level of stored xp on screen after that is higher value by +1. So 3 levels of xp is 6 points for example, 1+2+3.
A chest or boss is worth three points all on its own. An arcana chest or boss is 4.
If at any time you have gotten to 4 points your odds of Pentagram going off are about 75%. Each point above it adds 5%.

Whoosh
I think the joke was the more stuff that gives advantage to the character is on the screen, the more likely the pentagram will remove them.
I'm impressed. This is whoosh-ception. The knowledge that the joke went over your head also went over your head.
Normal = 33 seconds
Christine = 18 seconds
Arca = 24 seconds
Lada = 27 Seconds
Toastie and Exdash = 39 seconds
So if you have max tome + crown + Pentagram at lvl 8, from the time you grab the chest, G-Moon will fire set time from that time.
