Vampire Survivors (HELP) weird Bug ?

im a completionist and am trying to unlock everything i got Exdash by typing code, and i also have toastie by killing a Purple/pink Reaper on a Piano on inverse inlaid library (i hit Down arrow and enter at same time) i now have both ghosts the problem is the 3RD GHOST "Smith" i type (SPAM) at the main menu (SPAM) character select (SPAM) stage select and "humbug" whilst in game) i am aware of the 30 second timer and i can guarantee im typing it in less then 15 seconds because im a fast writer i even slowed down one time because maybe the game didnt register i type so fast so i slowed down to NO AVAIL please if anyone has any information maybe they changed how you unlock him or whatever also my caps lock is off for more information.

For anyone having this issue just play a normal game (Or unlock any Secret this is what i did)
after game is finished or you unlocked a Secret "Not Smith IV" after all thats done now proceed to unlock smith Spam spam spam humbug "apparently the game took a long time for game to register me getting toastie" anyone else having issue Good luck hope i helped

Or just, you know, use the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane spell "maybeimastallion", less hassle, and much easier :P

Not a hassle in first place, some people might have this issue and maybe they don't wanna use cheat codes #SPELLS. you know unless my save is corrupted somehow or physically unable to get something i would like to earn it, and there are a lot of people out there that feel the same way.... you know... lol

It is a hassle IF you're bilaterally paralyzed, ie one side of your body is paralyzed and you can only play games using one hand. Do you think it'd be easy to type quickly with just one hand much less play on a keyboard and handle a mouse with said one hand quickly :P

So yeah BEFORE you LOL at anything people tell you, do think about where said person might be coming from :P

Also using the Spells system ISN'T cheating, but using things like Cheat Engine is.

2nd if you have issues with this sorta thing feel free to make a discussion based on people with disability's that can resolve issues related to this i stand by that using spells is cheating its like in GTA or any other older style games back in the day where you hit (X X UP UP down A A down down)

and lastly in my mind telling people to use cheats it... just .... doesn't sit well with me it does not fix the problem it only post pones it for another person to have the problem its like a developer cop out.. uh.. the i love the developer he is so awesome for making this game and i wish him well on his success but he should be able to fix something if said something is not working for example: a bug that doesn't update when something happens in game and only unlocking something else will trigger the detection of the previous unlock.

Now on the other hand i did mention "if you cant physically do something to get around this topic" then a cheat #spells would be fine because then its not cheating its getting around an issue that one might have physically for example: broken limbs, paralyzed limbs now i didn't mention those but however i did mention Corrupted save files or if Something was removed from game etc... so i mean if ya wanna get something off your chest my DMs is open i dont mind joining a call or resolving this confusion of misunderstanding? were you not being snobby when you said you know like a smart alek or something its really hard to tell over text

I'm confused by the stance that using spells is bad, when you openly acknowledge you used one to get Exdash.

thats because when researching inside and outside of game everything just tells you to type x-x1viiq i researched for like 2 hours to try and find out how to get him even the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane (relic in game) tells you to just type it as the unlock condition come to find out later you can also get him from lucky boosts in game 1-65k chance other than that 1 i have not used a spell and idk if its considered a spell or not because you dont type it into the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane ________ thingy you type it at the main menu so i think spells and unlock conditions are different for example to unlock smith IV you type SPAM SPAM SPAM Humbug but the (Cheat) spell is "maybeimastallion" so they are different i think but a simple google search (are spells cheat codes in Vampire survivors) it will come up as yes they are

in short unless the game tells you to like for example: you will never and i mean never find a spell other than x-x1viiq in game. atleast to my knowledge im about to 100% it and have not come across any

anyway this is not what the discussion is about should i just remove this discussion when i had this issue alot of people online was having it and i fixed it and posted how i fixed it to try to help people i even submitted a bug report to try an get it patched (FIX) in the future
