Sync saves with mobile

Hi, would it be possible to sync saves between PC and Android?

On your PC go to /AppData/Roaming/Vampire_Survivors_xxxxxxxx C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxxx\1794680\remote and copy SaveData to your phone.

Using a file browser on your phone, rename SavaData to SaveDataUnity.sav

Move the file you just renamed to Android/data/com.poncle.vampiresurvivors/files

If you want to move a phone save to PC you can do the opposite by renaming SaveDataUnity.sav to SaveData and moving the file to the folder mentioned in step 1

You will overwrite the current save so make a backup if you want to keep it.

Any progress will not be carried over to the steam version and vice versa.

This could possibly work on a jailbroken iOS device as well.

Had to do the file transfer on the PC side, because the /Android/data/ folder is protected.

Don't know your phone, but you might be able to access it with other file explorers

yes. i just transferred my android save to PC and all achievmentes were unlocked.

I do an auto sync between mobile and PC with Stardew Valley, but I don't think the method used would work with Vampire Survivors because the save file name is different on each platform, while in Stardew Valley they are identical.

Basically I use a cloud service to sync the save file between my phone and my PC. If anyone is interested in how it's done, check this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/StardewValley/comments/b118qq/sync_android_and_pc_savegames_automatically/.

Does anyone know a workaround to be able to use this method given the names are different? Maybe there is a way to sync the file and automatically rename it on the destination, or maybe even sync two files with different names without renaming it?

Update: I think I've found a way to do it. On Windows you'd use the command mklink /H [Link] [Target] (more info at https://www.howtogeek.com/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/). This way you should be able to link the save files with different names and sync them with a cloud service such as Google Drive. I'll test it out and post an update about it.

Update 2: Works like a charm! I believe I have provided enough info to help with the sync, but if anyone have any trouble just leave a reply and I'll post a more organized guide on how to do it.

Update 3: Some cloud programs delete the files and replaces them with the new versions instead of simply updating them. This means the hard link with the previous command will break. If that happens to you, the solution will be running the exact same command, but without the "/H" switch, but this will require running cmd as administrator. Update: I did it all correctly, but the symlink (the "SaveData") keeps just turning into "SaveData.file", breaking the symlink and not updating the file on gdrive. Ive tried doing it as a hardlink and a symlink but both break
