One of the lowkey best newer powerups
I haven't played in awhile and am coming back for the new DLC, and I have to say, Man, I love Seal. Finally, I can play this game without having weapons or upgrades that I have a 100% pass rate on showing up and blocking out better weapons. I will never be using shadow pinions, for an example, under any circumstance for normal gameplay, and it's really nice to just not have to worry about them. I think 10 is the perfect number of seals for the game right now, It's just enough where I could eliminate most of the worst options, while still leaving some of the more situational upgrades available and in the mix.

Quick seal appreciation thread.

First thing I did was get rid of that stupid ass clock. Can't even count how many times that stupid item cost me my Gilded Clover streak.

Well, I keep the clock because I already have way more money than I could ever possibly use (Bought all ten levels of seal at max price and didn't even see the first digit on my money counter go down), so I don't run into that particular problem and having things frozen is more often than not a benefit.

I've sealed so far the birds, shadow pinion, and a lot of the one-off weapons with no evolutions like the egg, cart, bone, etc.

Why would you seal the bone and such when you wont even get them via lvl ups. It's a waste of seals. But I agree.. having the ability to seal some stuff is awesome.

its a waste to use seals on items with low chance of appearing.

Used it on the weapons I never take unless I'm specifically intending to select them for a specific reason. Also Orologion, because it rarely feels useful when I get one.

So goodbye to Gatti, Birds, Whip, Knife, Magic Wand, Cross, Lightning Ring, Shadow Pinion.

Are these seals something unlockable or is it a new available option?

It's a new skill unlock, same with the Banish, Reroll, Skip.

its a unlockable, banish 10 weapons in a single run to unlock.
Then you need to buy it in the power up screen

Seals is a power up that you buy with gold. To unlock it you need to banish 10 weapons in a single run.
Once unlocked you banish stuff from the game via collections menu.

You do get them from level ups, they're just rare.
