Opening the coffin in the DLC map is too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard

Use either Leda or Red Death, or if you've unlocked her already Queen Sigma.

I went after it with Porta Ladonna and Game Killer, though I got the red sword before I tried to reach the coffin. High cooldown helps with the waves.

It isn't too bad honestly! I managed to get it fairly easy with the first guy that has the whip item. The pentagram evolution helped alot along with upgrading the whip. Then if you have the merchant unlocked the item the dog has (with the flower petals) really helped deal with the big skeleton boys. <3

Just give it some time! You'll find which items helps your playstyle the most! The DLC just came out today, after all! :)

its not harder than any other coffin.. i used poe with evolved garlic/evolved bibles and cleared it while afking finished the map in first try. 0 eggs btw

I brought in my super-egged Big Trouser and got all the achievements requiring the new stage in one go, coffin included.

I did a normal run and a low egg run, just going to do the rest with the dlc character, eggs kind of ruin it. Wish eggs were made to be something interesting instead of an infinite grind to be op and tempt you to use them on new content lol. I know limiting yourself is a me problem, I liked that the end boss didn't allow it, even though it was still easy.

I ran Gallo with a full Blood Astro build. So all the defensive items plus huge amounts of AoE damage from Astro and La Borra. Only time things got rough was around 18 minutes, so get up there before then.

I just stormed in with Mask of the Red Death and zipped right over there before scouting every inch of the map

Yeah, it's so hard I did it on 1st try with Poe. Exceptionally hard.

I did it the very first try with Sir Ambrojoe, with a build of La Robba, Bone, Cherry Bomb, Carrello, Celestial Dusting, and Bracelet. None of them were max level, and I was maybe level 25 tops. The coffin isn't even properly guarded, you don't have to actually kill anything.

I got it on the second try with my egged up Pugnala, literally unlocked it right as I KOed the reaper, which was fortuitous timing to say the least. Only reason I didn't get it the first time was due to wandering around too much in that massive map.
