Quick question about powerups

When you buy powerups do they buff your character of the items power?

Also when you buy all upgrades of single powerup it gives you "Active" box so does that mean you have to max level powerup before it activate?

The bought power ups buff your character(s).

The active box let's you disable power ups so you can go without them if you want to.

Powerups provide a benefit to all characters at any rank. Additional ranks just provide additional stats to your characters.

Curse makes the enemies more powerful, but it also causes more to spawn. This allows you to level up more in the same amount of time.

Yep. Curse is a risk-reward thing. Just think of it as having to fight tougher, more dangerous mobs in exchange for more EXP. It can be good and it can be bad.

I don't like buying the curse power-up because I prefer to have a smoother early game.
