how to reset progress on steamdeck
hadn't played this game in some months and wanted to start it again from scratch.

I looked at other discussion pages about resetting and did the things suggested but it's not worked. I have tried deleting all game files I could find, both in the commons folder and the 1794680 folder. steam cloud off. but there's still some trace of my progress somewhere I guess because the game still remembers it when installed again

I tried the method I saw by grabbing the blank save file from the game's discord but I've been unable to locate to correct place to put it as it seems to be arranged different for Linux that the steamdeck uses. the 1794680 was located in a different place from where it would be on my windows pc, and the instruction for the save file mentioned to put it at 1794680/remote. However this remote folder isn't there for me to paste it in. does anyone know how to use this fresh save file for steamdeck/Linux?

I've been wanting to figure this out myself. Haven't played the game in a long while.

I'm surprised there isn't a way to reset progress through the options menu.

Same. An option to completely start over would be welcome.

Alright, there should be three file locations to delete for a full wipe on steam deck.
Turn off steam cloud and delete the following files.


/home/deck/.steam/steamapps/compadata/1794680

/home/deck/.steam/userdata/YOURSTEAMID#/1794680
-------------------
/home/deck/.steam/steamapps/common/Vampire Survivors/resources/app/.webpack/renderer/

just tried this out myself and it has worked thank you!
seemed is was that second file location you listed was the one that was eluding me a bit and was keeping my save around
