I just want to do a fresh start on MAC, why is this impossible?

As title says, i want to do a fresh start with no save. I have uninstalled/reinstalled 100 times and I can't get rid of the save data no matter what I do! It should be an option in the menu to reset! C'mon guys, get it together!

There is a reason to make it available only to players who are adamant about resetting their save data, as we have plans for the save files and don't want people to regret their decision when we get there. Sorry for the fiddly process, we can do better but for now it has to stay hidden.

To reset your save

Old engine:
Go to Options in-game, press CTRL+F2 seven times in a row

New engine:
Go to Options, tap the Account icon seven times, then click Delete Save and confirm through all the pop-ups

Are these instructions for a mac? Because it doesn't work. Can you please provide screenshots of what this would look like?

To switch to the new engine:

1) Right click on Vampire Survivors
2) Select "Properties" and then "Betas”
3) Click on the drop down list to select "new-engine"
4) Launch Vampire Survivors and go to Options, tap the Account icon 7 times, then click Delete Save and confirm through all the pop-ups

Why is there no hint for this in the game?
Come on, that can't be that difficult.
I don't want to browse the forum just to reset my save data!

Oh cool so there will be multiple save files in future ?
