are u sure that garlic has knockback? books yeah but garlic?
i had a lot of runs and never did garlic knock something away form me.
And yea, I'm severely disapointed in a fellow human being who has to rely on exhausted insult/jokes to get their kicks. Git gud died after the first time it was used. Creativity took a massive blow when that crap became the go to.
you mention bible has knockback. compare normal bible knockback to knockback with bible after the enemy has taken a tick of garlic damage. they get knocked back 2-3x as far.
With the starting character, it didn't go well. I could technically do it, but I would screw up and lose hp (partically cause I'm playing on hyper, regular feels way too slow.) But the damage wasn't forced, it was generally avoidable.
Then I tried the second character because I feel like the extra levels she gains make her runs consistent and I think the wand is really good if you level it all the way. I could pretty consistently get to the level 7 wand, and with level 7 wand alone you can move forward right next to skeletons, kill them with wand, and then move again and stay ahead of the blob behind you that way.
The hard part about the skeletons wasn't the skeletons themselves, its what comes after. If you're avoiding all the items that make your run overpowered and not using the power boosts, it becomes pretty hard to go back for all the experience that drops. In the run I did as the second character, after I killed all the skeletons I took a long time to try to collect all the experience, didn't get any more chests, and ended up stuck on a level 8 wand. Every time I get the upgraded wand, my runs immediately turn into afk runs where I only have to touch it occasionally to avoid a boss (although I get the extra projectiles pretty much every run and that upgrade is broken, so it might be different when I'm going out of my way to avoid that upgrade), so it was technically a failure but was very close to a success.
Now if I don't go out of my way to avoid the best upgrade in the game, I've gotten either +1 projectiles or garlic a vast majority of the runs I've tried in this game, and of course there's power boosts which make you overpowered from the start. If you just take for example the +1 projectiles from the power, you'd have to have incredibly bad luck to not get a build that easily kills the skeletons.
