Why should I use the bracer. Does projectile speed matter? All that is important is damage, or not?

Depends on the weapon. You'll get a higher dps on stuff like knives and bibles

Well it increase your DPS with stuff like magic wand and such, also you need it to evolve the knife.
If you have runetracer it will be more effective.

Yes, especially on NO FUTURE this can help to bounce more which result more damage. You can say that more projectile speed can deal more damage in short period of time.

fly faster. if you want to shoot more often you need cooldown reduction

runetracer flying faster means more bounces and enemy hits

Also affects the Cross/Heaven Sword, since those weapons are thrown out and then return in the opposite direction, increasing their projectile speed means they travel further (therefore hitting more targets) before the return trip.

Bones and Cherry Bombs also bounce around and damage targets that they touch, so more speed means more bounces means more damage. Gatti Amari moving faster means they're more likely to come into contact with each other and start fights.

Projectile speed is less universal than something like spinach but in certain builds like with Runetracer, Bible, and Cats, projectile speed becomes very potent.

Bracer makes some characters who have bouncing weapons do a lot of damage.

Runetracer, Bone, Cherry Bomb, Carrelo, and Gatti Amari are all weapons that bounce around the screen randomly rather than just traveling to the edge and disappearing. That means the faster they move, the more enemies they're end up hitting.

Bracer and Spellbinder (Making the projectiles have a longer lifetime) are the biggest DPS boosts for those weapons. Tome (For cooldown reduction) also helps. And Duplicator, of course.

And of course, Bible does more damge the faster it spins, because it can hit enemies more frequently.
