it seems like i need more eggs, (i've got like 55 for red death i think and that's the most)

i've been able to finish everything up to now without farming / thinking about anything but it seems like the room is built to require more than just unlocking everything

you don't need eggs for it, and my best reccomendation is to do laps of the full hallway since the candelabras respawn between the rooms and get some sort of dmg prevention like laurel or extra freeze potential like "out of bounds" arcana for when the horde starts bodyblocking the hallway.

The game decided to give me the invincible Moonspell character so it was a breeze for me.

The enemies in that stage have pretty high HP x Level scaling, so staying at a low level could help.
Making use of the Game Breaker Arcana could help.
Would just have to try and avoid leveling up before reaching the purple chests, since you can't start with an Arcana if I remember right.
Or, playing a character with low Growth, like Rose de Infernas.
Maybe MissingNo if you randomly roll negative growth?

Same answer as everything else in the game: Just use Sigma + Divine Bloodline. Grab Penta and you can basically just afk the entire stage. - If you have Foscari, the red guy with the sword accomplishes the same thing without being Sigma.

Or if you really REALLY want to cheese it, just use the among us ghost that can just fly through walls >.> Though I'm not sure if the relic is actually spawned without opening the door...

Literally any character with Divine Bloodline should work. Strongest single arcana for a reason.
If you don't want to cheese it with DB for w/e reason (which also probably means you don't want to cheese it with random or missingno), probably something like Retired Poe or that one operation guns char that gets up to 90% CD without eggs. (Speed boosts CD or something like that...?)

Did it on first try with Megalo Syuuto. No eggs, hyper, hurry and inverse.
The thing is that next room opens every 100 kills.

Some good advice in here already so I will just mention you could try removing your Curse powerup on the main menu powerups section (respec your gold , start with the highest cost upgrades because it is more cost efficient , then just don't put any into Curse).

I didn't try this so I'm not sure how effective it would be since the enemy HP is based on your level , it depends on how the Curse bonuses is applied but it might make it a lot easier.

Went in with full curse and charm as She-Moon Eeta, and did just fine. You don't need DLC characters or anyone as blatantly broken as Queen Sigma, you just need to kite better and maybe get a few pickups from the lamps in the hallways

No. Embarrassingly I actually went into it with my weapons restricted and ended up doing it with just Prismatic Orb by accident. Used up all my revives mind you, but I evolved that weapon and made it work.
