After 15 minutes a lot of jars spawn with gold in them, but you gotta deal with the deaths for a while to get it. My record is 19k, but some people have gone over 20k.

It's both. You can kill all the vases before 21 minutes and new ones spawn at 21 minutes. Here's one I took a screenshot of trying to come up with alternate builds not being used in another thread.

I insta-died at 15:01. it happened so fast I thought it was scripted. got the unlock for 15 mins in Molise though.

Yeah if you want to avoid being insta-gibbed by Death you need to have Laurel. It takes up a weapon slot and gives you a rechargable invulnerability barrier.

yep, just tried it again. I need a new build strat. Song of Mana works really well, but, it seems you only get one upgrade on the whole map. Laurel is certainly a good choice here.

So the strategy is to max level your weapons and evolve all of them at once?

I didn't try it myself, but I think you still need to be lucky and get a chest with 3 or 5 drops though.
