How does empty tome work?
I was watching youtube videos, and they mention some things about empty tome I'm not sure about. So any weapon you level up before you get empty tome, will not receive cool down reduction? Does that also work that if you get tome, but level up a weapon before tome is fully leveled, it won't get the extra cool down? Does that mean in general if you were trying to maximize (I realize this isn't possible), in theory you'd want to max out tome before increasing levels in anything else?

Empty Tome should work normally now, its old behaviour was a bug that was fixed in patch 0.2.13 (February 19th). Videos made before that patch would have workarounds for its behaviour.

so just to confirm, regardless of when tome is gained or maxed out weapon, they will benefit from tome's cool down reduction? Also thank you for answering

That should be it, yes. If you experience something different, be sure to report it in the Bugs subforum. There's always a chance I'm wrong :)
