ender wont spawn

i get well past min 30 in end level, hordes show up, I kill regular death or two then a grey colored death freezes me in place while my screen size grows and grows.

Either you used the cheat code to get the item the boss spawns or you already killed it once and got the item that way. In either case the boss will not spawn.

Ah, lame. I did use secrets, It was something I unlocked so I thought it was to be used, nothing told me it would prevent progress. Is there a way to roll back some aspect of unlocks etc?

IIRC there is a code to revoke the item, don't know what it is as I got the item the right way and didn't need it. Didn't actually have the secrets menu at that time either.
