How did you complete the Blue Crescent Moon Cornell challenge?
I've run it three times now with and without additional weapons, increased enemy spawns, and everything else I could think of to get him to get the required number of kills, and failed every time. Setting aside that the weapon he gains is kinda crap, can I get some suggestions on how to complete this?

Endless

Curse also increases the number of spawns, if you had forgotten to enhance that. Just be careful because enemy stats in Castlevania are a little high to begin with. Also there are a few locations in the castle that continually spawn swarms of bird fleamen, you can camp one of those for the increased spawns. Also consider turning on Hurry to get enemies to walk into your line of fire faster, and turning off Inverted or anything that boosts enemy HP aside from Curse, while grabbing as many passives as you can to increase damage output. Also consider using Ophion, Emergency Meeting, Unjust Ejection, Jewel Gun, and Sonic Whip for instant kills. The faster you kill enemies the more room you leave for other enemies to approach. You can also use Pentagram and it's evolution for that, as well as Troll Bomb and Soul Steal. On that track, try weapons that hit the most enemies possible to increase kills per second, like Sword Brothers, Hydro Storm, Mannajja, Infinite Corridor, Millionaire, Sole Solution, Phieraggi, and of course unions like Power of Sire and Clock Tower. Also on top of this consider using Alucart Shield to gain even more weapons, and Gemini as well if applicable.

On that last bit, it appears that Cornell has the hidden ability that the Custos glyphs will always be available if they or their union aren't openly equipped. This applies even if all slots are full. This means taking Alucard Shield allows you to level and evolve the Custos glyphs a second time, while also having twelve other weapons in effect including the first Trinum.

That one is a bug and will be fixed in next update. The vampire glyphs have the same problem.
You cant evolve the custos/dominus glyphs a second time.

And for Blue Moon Cornell, get the Karoma's Mana accessory in the clock tower, increases enemy spawns with 50 when fully leveled.

Take Divine Bloodline and the Dark Iron Shield as well, does retalitory damage like the werewolf glyphs Trinum Custodem and Centralis Custos-

This. The easiest way is to simply set it to endless.

If you want to do it without basically cheating like that, here are some tips:

- As was also already mentioned in this thread, increased curse and quantity help. So the passives Karoma's Mana, Skull O'Maniac, Toronna's Box, Metaglio Right, and Gold Ring will all help.
- Leveling up faster also helps you kill faster, so Crown is another good passive to take.
- Combining both of those, Wicked Season is a good Arcana to grab early, assuming you are familiar enough with the game to be able to handle constantly increasing curse.
- Cornell himself synergizes nicely with the Divine Bloodline build, thanks to Centralis Custos and Trinum Custodem having a damage retaliation effect. If you go this route, other good weapons to take are Runetracer/NO FUTURE, Pako Battiliar/Mazo Familiar, Night Sword/Muramasa, Eskizzibur/Legionnaire, and Iron Ball/Wrecking Ball. The high survivability of this build also helps compensate for the extra curse.
- Cornell also has high base amount, making weapons with bonus amount scaling really good on him as well. This makes Phas3r/Photonstorm, Four Seasons/Godai Shuffle, Flash Arrow/Millionaire, Mace/Stamazza, Globus/Nitesco, and the Clock Tower weapons particularly good picks on him.

Human Cornell only have +2 amount. One being from shop upgrade.

Blue Moon Cornell have +4 amount. I am not certain if transformed Cornell gains amount to match with Blue Moon.

Yes, normal Cornell gains the additional +2 amount when he transforms.

Tried my hand at a 30min normal Cornell, no eggs, hyper, hurry and inverse.

Funny really that a werewolf loves to play with bats in Pako Battiliar. But they do heavy retaliation damage. Which together with Dark Iron Shield really spikes his life.

Edit: Had another attempt, using just Trinum Custos, Dark Iron Shield and Pako Battiliar for retal. Endend up with 44.000 health in 30m. Dark Iron Shield leading with 1.2G damage done.

Skull, Torrona's Box, and Karoma's Mana, all of which will up your enemy spawns. Wicked Season as an Arcana choice can also help. (Though, not suggested as your first Arcana) just make sure you have some solid weapons to kill stuff off, so you'll want some strong damaging stuff.

Endless mode is the easiest way, but it's totally doable in a normal run.

So it's not '10k kills with his merged weapon' it's just 100k kills. Got it.
Last time I tried, I thought it was only with his weapon, so I came in a couple thousand short.
