Anyone having controller issues?
I can control my character with the joysticks and use the d-pad, but none of the buttons work so I can't start the game, choose characters, or select upgrades on level up etc etc without using the mouse. Work fine in the other steam games I've tested as well as random Xbox game pass games. I've tried the co-op controller settings thing but that's default set to P1 now so it doesn't seem to affect anything. Had my friend test on his game as well with the same issue. Configured steam controller input to see but that also didn't work. Not sure what else is left or if its just a game issue? Using a standard Xbox Series X controller. It worked before Castlevania as well but I just recently came back after the update so its been at least half a year if not more.

same, both Xbox bluetooth and 8bitdo pro controller not working. Mac running Sequioa. Used to work fine (like 6 months ago), also recently got the castlevania DLC.
Did you try disabling Steam input?

As of yesterday, 2 Logitech F350s stuck on walking upwards (only for P2 and only in VS). I think it's a game issue, not the controllers as the character will move upward faster when you press up, but move downward more slowly than normal when pressing down. So it's like the 2 directions are fighting each other.

Per my last post, did you try disabling Steam Input?

Yes Steam Input is off by default at least for me. It was only enabled to see if it would fix the issue which it did not. Then went back to disabled afterwards.

If anyone else if having similar issues, try disabling Xbox Game Bar and the Game Bar service. You go into system component settings>click the three dots by Game Bar and go into advanced settings and you can disable all. I'm on Win11 and this was the solution that fixed it for me.

I tried this but still my controller does not work. Looking at my processes, gamebar just turns itself back on when I run the game.
But the problem was the game settings 'Assign Controller to Player 1' was turned off from co-op.

I'm having a similar issue on Steamdeck. I lose control of the character after about 5 minutes, but not all of the time. The character moves up/ right independently of the controlls. Sometimes, if I die and respawn, I gain control again. When I die and re-start the game it starts working ok for a while, but comes back. I tried moving the install from my SD card to the Steamdeck memory and it seemed to fix it for a while, but it has started again. Any advice will be appreciated.
