Step 1: Take Sarabande of Healing.
Step 2: Get Soul Steal, Lifesign Scan, Mini Ghost, Pumarola, and Metaglio Left.
Step 3: Evolve Lifesign Scan to Paranormal Scan.
Step 4: Max the other selected weapons and passives.
Step 5: Get your Recovery to at least 2.80 thanks to the passives and Paranormal Scan.

Result: The incoming healing from Soul Steal triggers Walter's character ability, re-firing Soul Steal repeatedly at a rapid rate. Repeated screen clears while constantly healing yourself. Fun times are had by you.

Dont overlook Glass Fandango/Celestial Voulge and Crystal Cries. Slaying frozen foes gives maxhealth, growth and recovery.

Also, make sure Soul Steal is the only weapon from the Ebony Diabologue. So his passive only triggers that one.

Well he also starts with Nitesco, so that’s unavoidable. But you get so many instances of healing per Soul Steal that it hardly matters.

Tested it out with Walter as you said. Seems the build might need a lot longer time to mature. Had around 15 recovery at the 30m mark where I stopped. Just over 250k kills, no eggs, hyper, hurry and inverse.

I am unsure what you mean by “takes more time to mature”. Are you saying it didn’t work for you? Because the time I played Walter, as soon as I hit 2.80 recovery, he literally just machine gunned Soul Steal for the entire rest of the run.
