Clock tower area 'locked'?

I'm trying to get in to defeat the boss inside the little square room in the "clock tower". However it doesn't work, the clock says 3am and won't open - I've tried defeating all bosses before I go there and that didn't work.

I'm confused because I'm sure on one run I did, it was open. I've tried searching to find out what's up with that, but nothing. Does anyone know what's happening here? Thanks in advance.

Don't you just enter it from the top? it doesn't look like a door, but if I remember correctly, I just went down in the center of the top wall.

You need to use Ricther Belmont, thats why.

And the top entrance to the clock tower is from the Chapel Tower that needs certain progress to access.

Errm they are asking about the little room before Dracula throne room that has a clock on the wall. That accessible as soon as you reach the only thing is the entrance is hidden at the top side of the room,

Yep, I was just stupid and forgot that's how you get in, sorry guys. I was trying to do the achievement where you defeat Abaddon with Soma. Thanks for humouring me!
