She-Moon my beloved.
Then, not being a fan of chances, I went after Rerolls, Skips and Seals in order to improve the RNG.
Everything else is yes, random, althought I tend to unlock as many DLC characters as possible to add variety to the gameplay
Failing that I try to follow sequences: Unlocking what I need to unlock the next step, leaving "dead ends" in unlocks for later. Toward the end, though I just follow the list, and do each entry in order. Nothing fancy in that
The one thing I do differently is that I DON'T follow the list once there are no more "multiple unlocks" possible run. What I do is: I figure out which one will be the easiest and I keep the hard ones for last. Like, there are a lot of unlocks that you can do in 5 minutes and quit the run.
(And for the record, I usually WOULD do full runs, even for unlocks that I can get in 5 minutes, but in this DLC, there is SOOOOOO much content, that I just gave up LOL).
((Fun fact: there is more content in this DLC alone than in the original VS! That's insane when you think about it!!!!!!))
Yep try to get as many unlocks as possible in a run. In most cases that be unlocking at a new character and a new weapon plus what ever new stuff you unlocked on the map.
Exception would be when I tackle the new secrets. Was already too vague to get a lot of them in the base game and scrolling through the list this seems no better. Too cryptic for my tastes.
Anything you haven't evolved tends to unlock at least something. So at the very least I think one might as well try to evolve it in a current run you're doing.
That said I do suppose it depends on playstyle since I only look up stuff when I really can't figure something out. And most of my runs are full 30 minute runs. I know there's plenty of people who do look things up, focus solely on 1 or 2 things and then quit out when they have it. I personally think it's a bit of a shame since may miss out on playing around with a weapon evolution entirely.
