[Castlevania DLC Semi-Spoiler) Where does the librarian spawn?

I tried multiple different maps after getting the relic early and he isn't spawning ANYWHERE do I need to refight the tree?

He should be on the left of where the vampire should be, in the Castlevania map. I bought out his shop and beat that Treant before I tried other maps, but if it is working right he is usually just a few steps away from where the Merchant pops up. I'm not sure if he won't show up if you don't have the relic for the regular merchant.

Once you buy all of the things in the Merchant's shop, he becomes a playable character.

Once you acquire the Wood Carving Stone, he will show up alongside the original shop.

His original location is to the left of the Throne Room.

I have both, I'll try killing the Trent again hopefully I didn't encounter a bug on the switch version or something

I have heard a lot of Switch users commenting on bugs, so hopefully they will get a patch soon!
